Downtown Sculpture

There is a lot of sculpture in and around the French Quarter in New Orleans. There is statuary of famous New Orleanians and modern sculpture too.

This piece is located on the Moon Walk, named after a mayor of New Orleans, and it stands by the Mississippi River. With historic buildings in the background, this sculpture almost seemed out of place.
