They Grow Big in Alaska
I have never seen one in the wild because I was never in an area where they were nor during the proper time of year. Those who have seen the Alaskan mosquito in the wild say they are huge, bigger than a bumble bee. Some say they can carry off a moose. I'm sure that's a tale, but mosquitos do get big in Alaska.
