We had stopped at White Sands National Monument on our way to Los Cruces. It was getting late in the day and the light was just right for a photograph.
We made several, but this was the best one. I had tried some experimental shots, but they didn't work out.
I hope that one day we will be able to go back and make some more photographs of White Sands National Monument, New Mexico.
