It's Been A Long Time
This is the first in the series of art/text pieces. I tried to imagine Christianity three thousand years into the future with Christians still waiting for the return of Jesus.
Jesus told his disciples that many of them would still be alive when he returned again. Was he mistaken? Did he misunderstand some of his own beliefs? Was he just plain wrong in his assumption/assertion?
The Text
The last Alien left the planet 3500 years ago. The last time anyone saw the Being it was transporting the final Life Force of the Men of Earth. One day soon He will return and deliver the pure of heart and mind from the Wicked of this existence. Long live the Deliverer.
