A Sinister Look at the Annunciation
This was a very interesting image for me. I saw a hood and a down-turned face. The hood partially shrouded the face. There was something evil about this image.
There is a sect of Gnostics that believe that John the Baptist was the true Messiah and that Jesus was the Devil incarnate. Thus the title of the piece and the quote above.
