Landscape Photography in the Modern Movement by Artist KDD

Landscape photography is known by many names.

Cityscapes, pastorals, scenics to name a few, but they are all views of the land. Sometimes the artist will take liberties and distort what is present by adding additional elements.

That's why it's called fine art landscape photography or just plain fine art photography. Landscapes are usually horizontal images, however, sometimes the photograph calls for a vertical composition. This usually causes tension and the landscape becomes a stronger image than if made horizontally.
